Write about your football history : I am currently playing for U13 Bishops Stortford EJA team. I was released from Stevenage FC U12 academy June 2013. I moved on from Rotherham United FC U12 Academy in October 2012 after moving to Stevenage from Sheffield. Prior to trialing and making Rotherham FC's academy team, I did months of work in the Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, and Rotherham United development programs. My only other team here in England was a Sunday league side in Sheffield before I was able to find academy sides for trials. Prior to moving to the UK in 2011 I only played in the equivalent of an academy level team from the age of 7 in the US.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am good with both feet; quick, technical, and direct player; dribble well; excellent vision; able to play wide on both sides and centrally in the midfield, and I have been employed as a right wing-back in some games as needed; overall well balanced player. I make an effort to get the ball down and play quick passing with a concentration on possession.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : When I am with a manager who coaches the way I play, and teammates who play the way I play, I have been able to excel. An academy setup is more suited to my style as opposed to teams that bypass the midfield just to get the ball to a striker who ends up losing possession. I want to learn, improve, and really contribute to the team in an effort to advance in my football career.
