Write about your football history : In my early years, I have started as a goal keeper because I was inspired by keepers such as Bartez and Buffon. Later on, I've watched games and saw the beauty in Ronaldinho's soccer which inspired me to move out of the goals and stop stopping goals from entering to putting them inside the net. I have played and still play every summer in the virginia soccer league and I am currently playing for my school; the International School of Dakar which is an American school. Every year, we participate in the soccer tournament called WAISAL (West African International School Association League). And for three years straight now I have been captain of the soccer team which is a big thing seeing that it is an International School with kids from all over the world and kids that are talented.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am originally a striker and I love scoring goals however, I also tend to come back really deep and defend a lot, which my coach always tells me not to do. But I just like to be of help and not just stand somewhere waiting for my team to get the ball to me. I like to be part and be conducting the plays; which i then decided to play attacking-mid so that i am able to do so. I can pass the ball as i have great vision as i've been told and i have a pretty good ball control and also resistance; meaning I have endurance. My dribbling skills are also really good however, I tend not to do that often because yes it does make you look good but as I've been told before, a great player is not someone who can show off his skills and make himself look good but someone who can make his team mates look good.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : They should give me a trial because I am a really hard-worker and I don't give up when I put my head into something. I believe I deserve a trial because soccer/football is a sport that i really enjoy and I would like to receive even better training in oder to improve faster than I usually do
