Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Hello, My name is Michael Mendy. I'm 18 years old. I started playing football when I was 4 years old, In The Gambia which is in west Africa. I moved to the UK 3 years ago and I have been playing for several football teams around dumfries and Galloway. I play as a striker, mid fielder and a winger. My favourite position is right wing. I'm fast, strong, and very very reliable on the ball. I score lots of goals as well. Last season I scored 12 goals on 16 appearances which was great feelings for me . I was also made young player of the year last season. This season I scored 7 goals in 12 appearances. I like to play with a team that plays at high tempo. Football is my life! I train football 4 times a week by myself all the times because I want to be better and better day I play football. However, I where I live their is not many opportunities going on for young people, so that's why I want to take this opportunity to the next level. I would be very thankful if you guys give me this opportunity to make my childhood dream come true please. I'm very aggressive on the pitch because I love competing with people and what I'm after is the ball. Thanks very much .
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I love to play on the right wing because running is my thing. I can play with both feet as well. My crossing is very accurate and I read the games very easily. I'm confide on the ball, I'm not selfish on the ball as well. I like to play at high tempo and moving the ball smoothly as well. I love running into people to keep them under pressure by forcing them to make error and take advantage from their to course some damage. I just play Simple football.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : Because I think I need to show people what I'm actually all about when it comes to football. I'm a really athlete! Who love to fight on that ball and must importantly loves pushing forward to score goals. My all time dream is to become professional football player. The first manager to help me make my childhood dreams come true would be very lucky to have me in their team. I love football so much! I'm willing to take any risk to become a football player. I'm also a brilliant team player. Please help me guys to make my dream come true.
