Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Have played for Cleethorpes for 5 years and have been player of the year 3 times, have just completed a 6 week trial with Scunthorpe United who are looking at ways to extend my trial period after Xmas when they restructure the under 16 and 15s. I am 6 foot 4 and 12.4 stone in weight with an extremely athletic build and can bench press in excess of 80kg. Unfortunately the school I attend does not take part in county schools football but I have been invited to train with grimsby district to help with player development.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Extremely strong in the air, very clean tackles even when going to ground as last resort. Have an engine that's second to none for my age and not afraid of any physicality. Can work close with ball retention and also pick out long diaginal or through balls to the forwards or wide players. More than capable of playing at right or left back and can also do a job in midfield or outside right due to being able to maintain a high pace with ball control (have been Lincolnshire 800 mts winner last 3 years)
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I may never be a Messi or a Ronaldo but will never let anyone down, will give 110%, ask me to man mark or zone and I will do it with great discipline. I am one of the easiest players to coach and manage as I am willing to learn and carry out what is required of me. I will take any amount of punishment to ensure the team is never let down.
