Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started playing football at the age of 12. I played for Bootlaces Academy in Durban at the age of 12. I played for the provinsial team in Kwazulu Natal, representing my province nationally. Later on I was selected and played for the national under 15 South African team. I also played for Durban Stars in an under 17 Vodacom league. I then moved to Johannesburg where I played for Orlando Pirates reserve side. When playing for Orlando Pirates, my talent was then discovered by the manager of Randburg Football Club, the team I am currently playing for in the Castle League, a level 4 league from the ABSA Premier League.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am left footed, defensive middlefielder, blessed with a lot of skills. I can use both feet at ease. I have the ability to shoot from a distance. I also take free kicks and corner with excellence. My ability to run with the ball together with my skillful tactics gives my an advantage when in the field. I master tackles, which helps me win the ball. I can use my head with excellence. I have a mental ability to read the game and able to make necessary decisions even without the ball. I have a high accuracy in my ball passing ability.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : My commitment together with my dedication to be of influence gives me the edge to be able to achieve anything that I desire. I am a hardwork who is always hungry for more and never certisfied with being average. I have shown commitment and hardwork even in the early age of my career and such commitment and skills was rewarded by me being selected to represent my country in the under 15 national team. I am humble and have an outstanding attitude. In every team I have played for I was always presented with an opportunity to lead either through being a captain or assiting the captain. I have always build a good relationship with management and gave my best to contribute to the team. I am not afraid of excellence and can perform well under pressure. If given an opportunity, I will never dissappoint those who invested their time in presenting such opportunity. I am currently physically and mentally fit to not only play locally but internationally. The very fact that I am making this application for trials in a well respected league which has always been my dream, is proof of the confidence I have in myself and how much I am willing to go to better my career. Not only do I believe in my self, I also believe in the strength of a team, which is why I have always encouraged teamwork when I was presented with the ability lead the team. I believe that the saying that "none of us is better that all of us". I never give-up and will do everything in my powers to contribute to the team's performance. If given an opportunity to do trials I will receive it with both hands and work hard to prove my ability on the field and to demostrate my worth to the team
