Write about your football history : i started playing football at the age of 10 Along side aspiring to be a professional Athlete due to my success in athletics i continued to pursue that and competed at national level for several years before deciding i was actually more interested and was rapidly improving with my football during the years i was focused on athletics i represented my college (bradfield college) with 1st team football. i have always had a passion for the sport since i picked it up and have continued a high level training along side my sprinting and now i am currently representing my university (university of arts London) at 1st team level.
Write about your Playing Ability : due to my Athletics Background my main assets are my pace and reaction time which allows me to score or create scoring opportunities for others. due to a high level of coaching at Bradfield college boarding school i have also learnt how to read the game properly and make penetrating runs. i have put a large amount of time on working on my touch as i felt it was an area which needed improving. i am a right footed player but i am also gaining confidence on my left foot as-well.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : i feel i should be given a chance to show what i can do. I have a good level of ability and a strong willingness to learn and improve my game. i am also a team player with a generally a good attitude. i hope i get the chance to prove myself even though i have'nt played for any clubs previously due to being focused on another sport and being at boarding school.
