Write about your football history : I have been playing football for 10 years now, started off as a regular starter as a striker for my sunday league team (Roebuck wanderers)until the age of 14 before I was offered a trial at Stevenage youth academy where I spent 2 years before I was later invited by a first team coach at Conference South side St.Albans FC to join the first team during the 2013/14 season, although the majority of the games i played was spent at reserves I picked up valuable experience playing against players of different ages and physique, as my spell at St.Albans came to an end I was offered a place at Royston Town FC where I am currently spending pre-season training for the beginning of the 2014/15 season with a view of playing regular football in the first team.
Write about your Playing Ability : Although i do not view myself as the most flamboyant, clinical and creative player however I am an intelligent carrier of the ball, my aim as a central defensive midfielder is to always protect the defence by breaking up the opposition attack and look to pass the ball out wide at any given opportunity. I believe my major strength to be my ability to tackle.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I believe an academy director should give me a trial because I'm very confident that I have the ability, attitude and determination to progress further through the ranks of the club, and if given the chance to showcase these attributes the academy direct will not regret his decision.
