Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I've previously played for Archdales 73 FC, Worcestershire County, Worcester Sixth Form College and Worcester City Academy who have played the likes of Birmingham City, Walsall, Leeds United, Cardiff City, Swindon Town and many more. I started playing at the age of 11 and took very quickly to the game, because of my late entry into the game I had a lot of catching up to do as players my age were already ahead of me. I quickly improved my talent and skill and eventually found myself captaining the Worcester City Academy side and also being chosen to train with the first team on numerous occasions.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I’ve played as a defender my whole career and have varied between full back and centre half so therefore have experience in both positions and know how to play there, I’m a classic defender who loves a hard tackle and my strongest attribute is my aerial ability, I’m calm and composed on the ball and always try to play out from the back when I can, I’m very vocal and in control of the game, I’ve always been told from my managers that I can read the game very well and my tactical awareness is second to none.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : Because I live in Worcestershire there aren’t many opportunities going and I haven’t been given the correct break to make it into a top academy and feel I deserve the chance because I have improved dramatically since I started and have always worked hard and done my best for the team I’m in. I maintain my fitness by regularly going jogging and working in the gym, I deserve to be given the chance because I’ve dedicated myself to football ever since I was a young boy and can’t see myself doing much more.
