Write about your football history : I started playing at 5 years old at AFC Ewell where I played left wing. I don't remember much about my young years playing until I got to 10 years old. This was when I was in year 6 and I started to drop other sports and concentrate fully on football. I continued to play left wing for half that season until our striker left the team so I went up front. I started scoring many more goals after the position change and loved playing there. When a lot more people started leaving and the team got worse, I decided to move on. A couple of my mates played for Cheam Village Warriors and asked me to join. I went to the training and got accepted in and started off playing left wing. However, over time I was slowly drifted out to right back. I played there for the last quarter of the season and when i was told I would be played there next season I left after only the one season. Then last season I was asked to join Epsom and Ewell Colts. I was played right wing, left wing and striker and scored 25 goals and got more than 10 assists. We won the league and I have stayed there for this season where we have won every game so far. I have also played for my school A-Team which is Glyn Technology School and I have scored at least one goal in every game I have played for them including goals against 2 academy linked schools.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am a very quick, skilful player who is full of confidence. I like to use skills to beat my opponents but can also find a killer pass. I am a physical player who can accelerate away from defenders very quickly leaving them. I am a good, composed finisher who does not crack under pressure. I love pressure, it makes me want to do better, to show off how good I am. I feel that I play better against better opponents because I want to prove that I am good enough to go far with my football. Against worse opponents, I feel like even when I don't play at my best, I still look good because the defending is bad. I prefer playing against harder opponents because it forces me to play at my best all the time because I hate to lose. This attribute of hating to lose is good because when my team is losing I always try my hardest to be positive with and without the ball because if I am positive then the rest of the team will follow.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : An academy director should give me a trial because I am a very confident, skilful, positive player who has a lot of potential to go far. I have been told that even when I am far from my best, I will still be able to be spotted because scouts can see my potential even if i am having a bad game.
