Write about your football history : I have been playing football till i was very young but not very seriously unti the age of 13 where I realised that I wanted to be a professional footballer and notging else at any club where I can progess. At the age of 13, I played for chettle court rangers in the cheshunt league division 2 where I was on scouted by southend, brentford and norwich and I experienced at very high level of football at that age where in the season 2013-14 chettle court rangers finished 2nd. Through pre season I realised this team wasn't as serious so I left and joined Broomfield Youth who were a better team and they were in the cheshunt league division 1 as I joined them for the 2013-14 where we went 14 matches unbeaten until we lost twice but fortnately we won the league and I played mainly striker scoring 19 goals in 18 games. During the near end of the trial I went to a trial in charlton for Nigeria u16s UK development where I sucessfully passed the trial and we have friendlies with academies such as Bristol City, Birmingham and Millwall where I was scouted by Birmingham but unfortunately I did not sign with them other than that we have more friendlies and opportunities to get us signed with teams such as qpr and chelsea and many more. This current season I have stayed with Broomfield Youth where it has been a successful team so far as we are enfield's club of the year finalists of 2014, AFA charter standard community club of the year, FA regional charter standard community club of the year, Herts chamber of commerce social enterprise of the year winner and federation of small business community business of the year runner up and we are a official nike partner club.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am a player who loves to play in a attacking position without forgetting the reponsibility with that working hard in a attacking and defensive aspect of the game. I play mainly striker as I describe my playing ablity as a striker, in a physical aspect is that I am of decent height being 6ft so far and rapid on and off the ball as my average time in 100m.is 12.5 but my latest personal best is 12.24. I have good agility and balance holding the ball and retaining the ball. Mentally I am aggressive but respectful in playing a fair game as my aggression adds to my willingness to fight for the team and I have exceptional vision and awareness of my position on the pitch and tactically on where the other team's players are. Technically my strong foot is my right but my weak foot is exceptional as a player myself I am not into doing a lot tricks only when I see opportunities where I can express myself. As a striker my ball control being able to touch down the ball from aerial passes towards me is good as I am very good at holding it to wait for options or for me to turn and take on the defence my self my dribbling is quick on the ball and moving on to what a striker needs is his finishing. My finishing is very good on both feet but I generate much more power on my right than left. Overall as a striker my main attributes are that I'm a risk taker, hard working, a urge to work defensively to help the team as a striker and not a one who would expect the ball to come to them but I give options and I am always making archer runs bending them and showing my midfielders options, I have very powerful and low shots which I think are very effective in scoring getting the target precisely and accurately and also I am very promising and take any chance that comes my way.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : The academy director should give me a trial because I am willing to do so so much with this trial as it is what I need to progress as all I want is football. Academically I am very good but any other thing than professional football would not really make me happy in life as football does. I am not looking for top big clubs at this stage but I am looking for teams from semi to professional teams where I can build and work hard from. I realised that football is what I want and not just a dream if I can sucessfully get a trial I'll work before to get myself ready as at the same time I will be grateful as it is a wonderful experience for me for me to gain as I can see how much the academy director has let me access to his club which makes me thankful for your decision if you were to offer me a trial which I hope you will give me a chance to prove myselfat ny current age of 15 it is no time for joking about as if your not in a semi-professional to professional club by 16 it is really difficult unless you are very fortunate in still getting scouted at that age. I really hope the academy director gives me a trial. Yours thankfully, Kayode Saka
