Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : As a youngster I started off playing as a left back, but then found my feet in the position as goalkeeper. Over the years of playing for my club, school and college teams, I grew more confident in the role, and trusted my ability to be a competent keeper as well as a team player. From playing for Newcastle Town for four seasons, and moving up in the leagues, I have gained valuable experience and improved my skills, which have been commented on by managers and coaches on a regular basis, as well as earning a most improved player award. With Newcastle Town I have contributed in the winning of several trophies, with the most recent award being the Sentinel Cup, in which the final was played at the Britannia Stadium.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Throughout the years of playing I have gained lots of experience against teams from all different levels of football. I have been told that I am a naturally good keeper by my coaches, and I am confident in the skills that I possess to allow me to do well. As well as my goalkeeping skills, I use my communication skills in a positive way that allows my team to understand my work, and allows me to command my area effectively. With these skills I feel that I am a strong and confident goalkeeper, who is determined to do well.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe that I deserve to be given a trial, because I am a hard-working and determined individual, who with the correct coaching and guidance can succeed. I always put my all into my performances and am willing to learn and improve my skills, in order to make myself a better goalkeeper. With the improvement that I have made over the past several seasons, I feel that I can play my part in whichever team I play for, and I am just hoping for the lucky break, so I can show off my skills and continue my learning whilst enjoying my football
