Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I have been playing football now for 5 years, I am an attacking midfielder who plays for Pike Rovers Under 14 in Limerick City, Republic of Ireland, I am also in the Limerick Kennedy Cup selection team that will play in the prestigious Kennedy Cup tournament next summer in Limerick, I have been part of this selected team for 2 years now. I am also the captain of my school soccer team CBS Sexton street a school who has won many All Ireland soccer finals. My uncle Dominick is the manager of my club team Pike Rovers U14 contact is (0871430135)& he is a former professional player having had numerous trials at Arsenal FC under scouts Bill Darby (Past Arsenal Irish scout)& Steve Rowley (Past Arsenal chief scout) & signed a 4 yr Professional form with Tranmere Rovers FC, My late Grandfather Paddy is a multi capped Irish Youth International who signed forms for West Ham Utd. Jason O Conner FAI development officer has told my uncle & father that I am the best player in Limerick & the best player he has seen in some time at schoolboy level, Former Rep Of Ireland U15 manager Niall Harrison also praised me saying he thought I was an exceptional talent after he coached the Limerick selection team.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : My uncle Dominick says that I remind him of Johan Cruyff as I have a beautiful left foot & I love to attack players with my skill, acceleration & excellent technique, I have great vision, & an acute sense of my team-mates positions as an attack unfolds, I also like to drop deep & get on the ball as much as I can & open up play & be a good team player, I have scored several free kicks this season as my uncle has me taking set pieces, my coaches also say I have brilliant passing ability & fantastic finishing ability. Everyone around me coaches, teachers & family & friends have said I am no doubt good enough to sign for a professional club just like my uncle & grandfather have done in the past.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I love the game & I have an excellent attitude toward my football career & my home life, I love football & I dream of being the 3rd boy in my family to sign professionally like my uncle & grandfather have done before me. I train very hard with my team mates & I work very hard with my uncle on all aspects of my game daily, I am extremely motivated & I am totally dedicated to becoming a professional footballer. I have been told by several Uefa A & Uefa B coaches that I am talented enough to make it as a professional footballer, my uncle has told me talent is not enought that hard work & dedication is half the battle, I am willing to sacrifice anything to make my dream come to reality.
