Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : As an experienced goalkeeper, I have played at semi-professional level, College Academy, County and Club, as an U16 I represented Swindon School Boys, North Wiltshire District, Wooten Basset U18's and have regularly played one or more ages above my group.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : As an 18 year old my playing style and decision making reflects that of a 28 year old. I am an extremely vocal goalkeeper, organising and keeping my back four on their toes is something I know can make the difference in a game. I like to feel that my outfield players can have full confidence in my footwork and control so if they need to start again and come back, they can. I therefore train my footwork and control like an outfield player. As I am only 6ft, I make up for my presence with athleticism, reactions and confidence going for a ball is something a pride myself on. I will always go for a ball with my full heart and commitment.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I have played football since I was 7 years old; I have always played in goal. From the ages of 10-16 I was on Southampton, Bristol, Reading and Swindon Town's books. Due to reasons that at that time were outside my control as a minor, my parents would not allowed to trial for these teams. Now I am 18, I feel that it is time for me to take the game I love into my own hands and see if I can take the opportunity I feel should have been mine. I have potential and with coaching and leadership from peers and mentors I feel I can grow into a superb player and expand on my already good skills and ability. My mentality is eager to learn and improve always; I am always looking to fine tune my game and move forward as an individual. My attitude, commitment and passion is a major factor to my game and can make the difference.
