Write about your football history : I have been playing football since able to kick a ball, football has always been my passion and I would play at any given opportunity. From age 7 I had scouts watch me from teams such as QPR and Arsenal, I was asked by both teams to do trails, however, my parents turned down the trails stating they felt I was too young and my father being an avid Manchester United supporter (I feel this may have influenced his decision also). I have played for a number of clubs: Greenwood Primary left back for 2 years yr5 to yr6, Northolt High School left back for 5 years yr7 to yr11, Northolt Villa at 7 years old left back, Greenford Celtic for 4 years left midfield, AFC Wasps for 2 years free role / left midfield, Technicolour for 2-3 years free role, Hayes Gate 1 year free role. Every club I have played for, I have been voted player of the year and the manager’s player and I have all the trophies received. I have played Westway 5-A-Side 2011-2012 and Ruislip Goals 2012-2013 where I made their weekly team. I continue to play football weekly with a local group where we have played charity matches to raise money for good causes.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am a strong player both on and off the ball; I am physically fit, quick with good stamina and endurance. I am a good team player and recognise the importance of passing with timing and accuracy. I am determined when in pursuit and can follow through and score on target. I am left footed and able to throw the ball a great distance.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I am 23 years old and consider myself to be a skilled footballer with a natural ability for the game; I am a disciplined, determined and dedicated person, and would be an asset to any team. I no longer want to wish or in years to come have regrets (thinking that could have been me), I would like an opportunity to follow my dreams and show how good I am and live the passion I have for football.
