Write about your football history : I arrived to the UK in 2010 and played for a local Sunday league team called Langley zebras. I spent 3 seasons there, winning top goal scorer in 2 seasons and scoring an average goal of 45 goals a season. I caught the eye of a Reading Scout, Colin Landeg, who showed an interest in me by giving me a 6 week's trial at Reading FC. I was there for more than a year. Unfortunately I couldn’t get a scholarship so they introduced me to John Madejski Academy (JMA) which has an elite football programme connected to Reading FC. I impressed the head of the Academy Manger of Reading FC, Eamon Dolan, when I played against the scholars. He invited me to train with the scholars for two weeks. I scored two goals in the 3 games I played in the two weeks. I was not offered a scholarship mainly because they played me out of position (left wing). This was because of my shear pace but I still worked hard and they wanted to keep me in the football programme (JMA) so that they could keep an eye on me.I have also being playing for Windsor FC which is a semi-professional u18 side . I reached the regional stage of the trials for the selection of the England FA schools under 18 team after going through three gruesome selection trial matches this year. For the final stage of this I was one of only two (2) players selected from Berkshire. SPORTING ACHIVEMENTS I won players player in my local Sunday league team in the last season, 2013. I played for them and was the top goal scorer in 2 seasons 2011/2012 and 2012/2013. I scored 48 goals in each of the two seasons. At my previous school, Langley Academy, I played for the school and was integral part of the school team at all the age levels. I was sometimes drafted in to play for the sixth form team, while doing my GCSE and was again among the top scorers. I also scored a hatrick against the National u18 side of Trinidad & Tobago when JMA played them in an off season match during their tour of England in summer of 2013. I scored in every game I played for my County, Berkshire which led to me winning top goal scorer with an average of 2 goals a game. I helped my school County side winning the South West County Cup. I scored 2 and assisted 1 in a 4-2 win in the Finals. I am currently pursuing a Btec sports programme at JMA and aim to pursue a sports science course at the university alongside my playing carrier so that I can intern help the development of football in future. I have the full support of my family who encourage me and gives all the assistance I need to succeed.
Write about your Playing Ability : . I am a versatile striker who has lightening quick speed, terrifying defenders with my impeccable left foot. I have all the athletic attributes which are; Speed, agility, endurance and intelligence. I can also play on all three forward positions but my best position is as a striker. I have been training to improve on my technique and the use of my right foot. I am a very good team player and apart from my goal scoring I contribute to the effectiveness any team I play for. I have also been among the top in assisting my striking partners
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I have the potential to do well and contribute to any team I will play for, besides, I am passionate and will work hard to be the best i can be. I think it will not be a waste of time to at least give me the opportunity to show what I can offer.
