Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started playing football when I was 4 years old. I played for a local Sunday club in the age group above for 4 seasons. I then was scouted by Lincoln City as a goalkeeper and Boston United as a left midfielder at the same time. I chose to play for Boston United as I preferred to be outfield, however I still like to play in goal occasionally. I played in the age group above for 2 seasons at Boston United and am currently in my 6th season with them but am now in my own age group. In 2006 I won a competition to train at Carrington with Manchester United coaches with children from all over the country. I won player of the day! I have been told that my club expect me to get into the youth team in a few years time and eventually the first team.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am a natural left footer and play left back and left midfield. I am a versatile player and can play in any position from goalkeeper to striker. I am skillful and am confident in taking players on. I take corners and free kicks for my club. I am a strong team player and know the importance of supporting my team mates.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I think I am worthy of a trial because I have great football ability in general. I have the skill, determination, ability, discipline and strength to become a better player. I am a great team player and am a popular member of my team. I work hard at training and do not give up and I respect the manager's decision. I want to play football more than anything and am willing to travel to do so.
