Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Egbekai Oliver is a name that will probably be more familiar to college football fans in Edo state than other states in Nigeria. Oliver scored on his Igbinedion university Okada debut against Achievers University in December 2011, Oliver made 12 starting appearance for his university scoring 15 goals. Egbekai Oliver started playing soccer for his faculty (arts and social sciences) in 2009/2010 session breaking into the first team instantly and making 36 appearances and scoring 40 goals and 29 assist for his faculty at the annual vice chancellors cup (VC’s CUP). Oliver was also the captain of his faculty for 2 years, he was also the director of sports for Nigerian economic student association (Igbinedion university Okada chapter) for 2 consecutive years, he led his faculty to its first ever vice chancellors cup in October 2012, he was then nominated to be the school soccer team captain which he eventually won by votes in 2012/2013 session. He was the 25th soccer captain of Igbinedion university Okada. Among the 4 winners medal that Oliver has collected during his stay at the university are CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY ON CAMPUS CUP 2011, VICE CHANCELLORS CUP 2012, OLD BOY CHALLENGE CUP 2012, and CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY ON CAMPUS CUP 2013. Oliver has also earned recognition from people around Ovia North East local government area of Edo state, Nigeria, the host community of Igbinedion University. Named: Young player of the university 2009, most valuable player 2010, highest goal scorer runner up 2010, highest goal scorer 2011 (Nigerian private university games 2011, highest goal scorer 2012 and best player 2013.
