Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : From an early age I was kicking a football and I have loved it ever since. I went and trained with a local side named Discoveries aged six. Whilst I never played for them I trained hard for two years until they closed the club down. It reopened in 2010 under the same management but by that time I was playing regularly for my current team Healing Hotspurs. I have played outfield for them for two seasons and now I currently play in goal which is my favored position. Since I have played in goal I have settled in and increased my level of commitment as I believe that I can succeed in life with a good attitude and playing to the best of my ability. I love to play as a goalkeeper and I would appreciate the opportunity to show a club that I can do more and what I have to offer.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am committed to training hard and continue doing extra training, such as running and weights at the school gym, for an hour after everyone leaves. On the pitch I keep everyone organized and I can be vocal. My strength is kicking a ball out of my hands and whilst I can kick off the floor this is an area where I require development. My reactions are very good. I can catch a ball well and I am calm under pressure. I am a team player and know I would be an asset to any team.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe I deserve a trial to show what a club what I can do and how I would benefit their team and club. People ask me what I want to do as a job and I can't think of anything other than playing professionally for a football team. If I do get accepted into a club it will also show other boys who want to play football that they can as well by training hard and being proactive. If I didn't get accepted into a club I would still have a desire to improve and try harder to get another chance.
