Tell us about your football history in 100 words: I have been playing football competitively since the age of 12 for both my high school team and various local clubs outside of school. My high school team (Magee Lions) competes at the AAA level, which is the highest level of secondary school football. I have played for the Vancouver United U-15, U-16 and U-17 teams, and am currently a member of the U-18 Metro (highest amateur level) side. I practice daily during our football season (September to March) and regularly attend developmental training camps at IMG Academy in the offseason (Spring and Summer). My 100m time is 11.62 seconds.
Tell us about your Playing ability in 100 Words: My greatest assets are my speed, stamina and physicality. I have the ability to run past even the sharpest defenders and have gained an acute physical edge over my opposition from playing rugby competitively for some time. My coaches at IMG have praised my ability to break down attacks by pressuring the attacking players into making wasteful and impulsive decisions. I am a skilled passer of the ball and use my sharp insight to create attacking chances by finding space in the opposing half. I am left-footed but possess a right foot of near equal strength and touch.
Why should an Academy Manager give you a football trial in 100 words: I am a hard-working and perseverant player and stop at nothing to achieve my goals. It is my resilient character and belief that hard work and diligence pays off that has fuelled my passion to pursue football as a career. I give it my all on and off the field and work well with teammates of all ages, abilities and ethnicities.
