Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started playing about 4 years ago and set myself a target to secure a place with a regional team in the Stockport Metro division (Inter Cheadle), whilst acquiring essential footballing skills, develop and an understanding of team play and achieve a regular position in the first team in the division (Juno United), which is where I am now.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Being a valuable football player is about developing football skills from a physical, mental and strategic standpoint – irrespective of what level. As a highly competitive player in the top team in the division, I am constantly assessing how my current ability maps against my potential ability targets - both at regional level with Juno and at professional level. Continuing skills that I’ve retained in personal training from the Brazilian Soccer School in Tameside Manchester throughout 2011, in conjunction with regular team training and matches, I am played in LW/RW and CAM because I use both left and right feet. And in these positions, I have very good pace, technique, dribbling, passing, tackling, creativity, decisiveness and strength. But there’s always room to improve.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : There are amazing players of my age across the UK. However, football is a highly competitive sport, and the modern day footballer now requires a suite of skills beyond just football ability; athleticism and an understanding of team and game strategies, which include attack, defense, diversion and even intimidation.
