Write about your football history : I have been playing football since I was a little boy like most boys in their early childhood. I wasn't any good at the sport possibly due to the fact I was unfit and on the heavy side then but I did know the technical side to it. During the summer of 2012 I was influenced by the Olympics to run and be more active and eventually I was incredibly fit with good stamina and on me, making me able to represent my school in a range of sports as I was able to convert my knowledge to ability. From then on I used to play football but not seriously which hinder my progess in football but I wasnt caring for it so it didnt affect me so I just played during school and for the school football team until the end of Year 8. By then, I started to realise that I had potential and I was getting better despite my lack of seriousness and at that point I was aware that my friends from inside and outside school were playing LOASS FC so I went to train with them. Those training sessions before the actual trials acted as a trial session and I was confirmed for the team before the official trials begun. Due to family issues I wasn't able to start the season and I missed out on half of the 2013/14 season. In the second half of the season, I was able to play for the team and because the team had trouble with their positions and playing I had to play a variety of positions sometimes three in one game. Eventually when I was settled into the team, I stated playing in the middle of midfield where I really shone and still shining. In the around 12 games I played for the club, I managed to grab 6 goals and 8 assists so far. Because of my presence on the pitch and my encouragement and good sportsmanship, I have been made captain despite those who have been at the club for two or three years longer than I.
Write about your Playing Ability : I think my playing ability is great and can vary depending on what position I am playing some I can use my knowledge to change the way I play to what the team and the position need. I normally play in the middle of midfield - any three positions there and I can adapt.I would say I am a box to box midfielder slash midfield maestro because I am able to notice danger in the defence and can clear the ball, able to protect the back line and stop those from attacking my defence and goal showing opponents out ona way of the the pitch or down the line or in into danger to someone covering me or blocking shots and crosses and making interceptions. I can jump high in the air to receive the ball, flick it or score from corners and goal kicks. I like to pick up the ball and drive upfield with it, able to hold players of while doing so. I can also hold players off the ball when its their possession and take it off them. I play the ball wide to the wingers or annoy the opposition by keeping possession with the team (my favourite thing to do because if they don't have the ball they can't do much) playing little one-two passes to either keep and wait for a sure time to attack or to use those passes straight away to attack. Or bursting into space to receive the ball giving myself enough time and space to turn and slip the ball into my forwards (my other favourite thing to do) I can help the attack by looking for crosses into the box or on the edge of the box to finish and I can even take shots from range. I can call myself the engine of the EAM running things in the middle and not running out of steam, going the full length of the match with ease even thought I put everything and more into my performances. I have only been substituted once for only around literally a minute to go from Centre Attacking Midfield to centre back. I would say I'm versatile on the pitch and a great centre midfielder.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I think an Academy director should give me a trial because I know my ability and I know my potential and that I can get way better than what I am since I have only start playing properly recently and I need an opportunity to show that.I have grown to love football completely lately and passion for the sport has grown with it and it would be an honour to get a chance what others dream for and I am sure I won't waste it.
