Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I have been playing football competitively for 11 years. Starting at the age of 5 for a local team, Colchester Athletic I stayed with this team till the age of 13, I was vice captain and then became captain. The club reformed as Iceni this is where I took a new role and became the clubs striker and first captain. Within the first two seasons of this new club we won promotion. In 2013 I trialled for the Colne football college and was given a place although later declining. I currently play for a un 18's team and am also signed on for a men's team so I'm use to playing with older ages. For the Colchester sixth form I play as crucial striker and have scored 19 goals in just 12 matches.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am a very physically strong player with good coordination and ball skills. I am a good leader and have a large set of skills when on the pitch. These include; first touch control, holding the ball up, short and long distance passing and shooting from different ranges. I am left footed player but I am also strong with my right which allows a mixture of movements, Aswell as having a good playing ability I have the right mental mindset as I can read the match and my off the ball movement is good. This helps create chances not just for me. Delivering set pieces are a strong aspect of my game for example free kicks and corners although I am also useful in box as an areal threat. I am not the tallest but I am strong and well built, this is also accompanied by speed and quick changes of direction. I also have a large throw in.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I have been playing football all my life and I'm looking for that chance to take it to the next level, I'll work hard and never stop until something is complete. If something needs improving I will work on it. I'm looking to learn and build as a player.
