Write about your football history : From a young age I have loved the game however I only began playing competitively from the age of 11. Since then according to all my managers I have made the fastest progression they've ever seen. I first started playing for my local team Deane Academy and played for them between 2010 and 2012 season, in my time there I won the golden boot and players player in both seasons. I was then poached from Oxford Grove who were a league above Deane and after playing against them in a friendly they were adamant I joined them. I was a pivotal figure in the team that won the BBDJFL U15 league on saturdays, whilst also playing for Ladybridge FC in the Tameside league on a sunday. Currently I only play for Britannia AFC in the U17 Tameside league on a sunday after I was poached by their manager to join his team.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am constantly compared to Gareth Bale in his Spurs days, a lightening left winger with excellent work rate and sublime skill. I have the ability to out run pretty much every defender due to my raw pace and have excellent crossing ability as well as finishing.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : Due to my Asian background I have always been overlooked for one silly reason or another when a scout has come to watch me play however I do believe I deserve the chance given the amount I have progressed from a street player to knocking on the doors of professional football clubs in such a small period of time. I understand I can always improve my ability and I have excellent attitude in improving myself. I do believe I have the attributes a lot of the English teams are missing in being a home grown player and appealing not only to the English population but also the Asian hemisphere where so much money could be made due to there being an Asian playing in a top English league.
