Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Midfield for Gornal Althetic in u8s for two seasons (one when should've been in u7s) and one year at Pheonix Youth. Moved to Trysull Tigers East at start of u10 season and won league - team beaten only twice in three years (once in a cup semi last season and once in the league this season). All Sunday football has been played in the Stourbridge & District Youth League division one. All football in the last two years has been played in Central defence - either as the central defender in a back three or on the left of a defensive back two. Two years experience with West Brom Development Centre (Leigh Downing) and Wolves Development Centre (Marc Campbell) and recently had a trial with the Wolves Academy. Also played in MJPL for CS Colts at the start of this season but gave this up (and the Wolves trial) after being invited to play district football for Dudley Schools team.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Assured on the ball, reads the game and has good positional sense. Well timed, tough but fair tackler who wins/shields the ball and then plays it simple when on possession. Very vocal, leads the defensive team, ushering team mates to hold a high line and has got to grips with the offside rule very quickly this season.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : Now needs to step up a level to play with/against players at a higher level to develop own game further and be challenged; something he's not getting at district level. Although the players at the Wolves trial did challenge Harry, he became frustrated when on trial with Wolves as the coaching was primarily aimed at encouraging individual trickery as opposed to teamplay, so we'd be looking for an academy who's methodology matched Harry's.
