Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I have been playing football since age 5 when I began playing for my Primary school as a left footed, right sided winger. Aged 10 I went on to represent my Secondary school team in competitions in states in Nigeria as a forward. Spotted by the Head coach and was put forward to play at a semi-professional level and joined the college team as the youngest squad player. In 2011, having entered the largest football competition in Nigeria, I was made Captain of the team and went on to win the competition twice playing against the best teams in Nigeria. In September 2013 I came to England and was selected to represent the prestigious Brooke House College Football Academy. The Academy plays competitive weekly fixtures against academy sides and students and holds professional trail games. Here I engage in daily coaching sessions concentrating on every aspect of my development from improving my technique to position play.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am a player admired by coaches but also fellow teammates. I was voted player of the year on several occasions in Secondary school and picked up numerous man-of-the-match awards for my outstanding performances on pitch at both Regional and local level in Nigeria. I have scored 26 goals and made 28 appearances since Primary school play to date. Great acceleration, agility, jumping, team working skills not to mention his technical skills; dribbling, crossing, passing and tackling.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : At my age, I am a role model amongst my peers, giving time to helping children like me in Nigeria pursue their passion in Sports. I am a young volunteer with Elite Sports International Clubs LTD which partners with Premier league FC, such as Manchester United to build sports for development in Africa.
