Write about your football history : I am 17 years old, (28-08-1997), portuguese, living in England since December 2012, and I am playing my 3rd season on a senior league. This is the first and only team that I played in UK. In portugal I was selected to play in several teams, when I won some cups and individual trophies (best player of the tournament, MVP, top scorer). I was select twice to play in one of National Porto teams, and the last time I was selected as captain. Now I want to follow my dream, to be a professional player. My teammates, my coaches, even the people that watch my games says the same.. I need a chance in a better team, in a team where I can develop my techniques and improve.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am a right/left winger, I can also play as a centre forward. I'm fast, have some skills with the ball on my feet. I have a good ball control with my weak foot, nice vision, nice crosses, short and long passes, and I have a good movimentation too to create diagonals. I am a adaptable player to various styles of game, (high pressure, defending, create lines of passes. And these 2 seasons in a senior league helped me in everything. I am now stronger in 1 for 1 situation and strong in melee, because the senior leagues are much tougher. I have a lot to learn, delevop and improve.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I think now it's the right time to get an opportunity to show what I can do with the ball on my feet. I want to have a chance in a team to improve, a team that uses my ability. I want to be a professional, I know that I can be someone in the football world. I know that I have some experience that players with my age don't have.. I'm playing my third season in a senior league and until now, 4 games, 2 goals and 5 assists. And now I think I deserve a chance to show how I treat the ball.
