Tell us about your football history in 100 words: I have been playing football from a very early age and just last year I was chosen from among 400 players to play for Catanzaro regional football team which would have meant that I could have gone on to play professionally for this team. Sadly this was not to be as there was, and still is, so much corruption in this team and this included paying high fees to be chosen to play for the matches. Seeing the coaches taking big cheques from many parents to allow their children to play in the away games I knew that there was no future for me in this team. I was not prepared to pay to play.
Tell us about your Playing ability in 100 Words: I have the will , the determination and the ability to play a full time match without difficulty. I play as a team member not as an individual. It is a team that wins, it is not just down to one player. I appreciate and listen to all my team mates and I give 100% in every match. All the matches I play are important to me and I play as if I am playing in the final of the world cup. Most importantly I strongly believe in fair play and respect any decision made by my coach or by my manager. Respect is big part of the game. I believe in being given the chance to play only if I deserve it- nothing more!
Why should an Academy Manager give you a football trial in 100 words: In the past I was not given the chance to demonstrate my ability to play as only the wealthiest families were given this chance. Anyone can pay to get somewhere, but you have to be able to demonstrate you ability and skills. Money cannot buy these. They come from hard work and determination, pain , experience and the desire to become one of the greatest footballers.
