Write about your football history : Well when I started to watch and understand TV more properly at 4 years old and could channels, i found football. Instead of watching children's things i was always searching for any football i could find and my mum and dad used to come in and change channels because they thought at first football was on by accident as they werent interested in it then. It wasnt until 1 day when i was nearly 5 that I was sitting telling them all the names of 3 different big teams and how they played and why they lost or what skills got them a win that they realised what had been going on with the TV I think. Because of that my mum bought me a really good football and some boots to help me. Soon after, they split up and mum started taking me out every night to a playing field with my ball and after a long time doing that she started looking for the right team for me to join. I joined Pontefract Collieries FC when I was just 8 and they put me where I wàs my best in striker position where I am really really strong and it helped bring the team into the top league in 3 months. And lots of people were talking about me which was nice to hear. Then the coaches kept changing and I seemed to be sat watching games half the time and being put into positions i wasn't happy with or best at. That went on for quite a while until it was time we looked for another club that would help me do my best. We went to watch a few different teams training to see what the coaches were like. Then we asked at Thorpe United but there was no space just then, but they called us when there was and i started playing as striker with them too. Also, because lots of people had talked about how i played as a striker my mum thought it would be a great idea to ask if she could take me to Doncaster Rovers FC for them to see what they thought about being good enough for them. They invited me to find out and after 2 months training with them and playing in striker position they put me in their U12s academy team. So now I train and play with Doncaster Rovers FC U12s and also Thorpe United as striker. My mum is the best at supporting what I want so so much. She sits and waits for an hour after school every night while I play football with my friends before tea and still takes me to the football field all the time on an evening too as well as to my team training and games.
Write about your Playing Ability : My coach has given me this to write about playing ability Passing ability is good, and Jay has a very good awareness of players around him to pass to. He has great strength and shoots very hard and accurately and his tackling is very strong, although his timing of tackling needs working on. Overall he has a very good ability with a little more work needed on his speed for the desire of the ball, which he has, but needs to be used All of the time as opposed to Most of the time.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : Because even though I am only very young I couldn't be more serious about the game and I have a real goal to be world class. My ability and massive love for football and teamwork and the very hard work I put in as a player to be the best I can and have the best ever chance of doing that I hope will one day get me what I want which i know is possible for me with professional coaching
