Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : 2010/2011- Aylesbury Town 2011/2012- Oxford City FC 2012/2013- Oxford City FC- trialled at Norwich City 2013/2014- Cheltenham Town FC (pre-season) /Oxford City Fc/ Soccer Icon scholarship I started playing football in the 2010/2011 season before which I played an alternate sport also at a very high level. As a player, over the past 4 season, I have improved at a rapid rate and continue to.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Ability: I am a naturally left-footed player but am equally adept on both feet. I believe I possess an extremely high level of skill which enables me to stand out amongst other players, therefore highlighting my talent. My speed and reading of the game, alongside my technical ability in various different positions assist me in working successfully to the highest standard in a competitive, team environment. My leadership skills and my capacity to lead and work effectively in a group are exemplified by the fact of my current 2 year captaincy span of Oxford and 5 year captaincy of the school football team. Standing at 5’11 tall I am given an advantage and attempt to exploit this advantage to the maximum. This enables me to out jump my opponents and win numerous aerial duels. This is predominantly used in the defensive and middle thirds although threat can be made from set pieces and bursts forward. A range of passes including long and short with both feet also allow me to find my team mates in attacking positions and create many goals. Confidence and positivity are also exceptionally prevalent in my game and character which have a significant effect on my surroundings and team.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe I should be selected and given the chance as I am a very committed, determined and focussed individual. I also believe that I have been imbued with a natural talent and astute abilities regarding football. These attributes in any environment would have a significant effect and I believe it would benefit it majorly. My impact would be highly valuable and being given an opportunity to showcase myself would be a fantastic way of making this impact evident.
