Write about your football history : I joined my first junior football club aged 4 and in addition I also tried to develop my football skills by attending regular Brazilian soccer school sessions. I was scouted by Wigan Athletic football club while playing junior football and joined Wigan Athletic Centre of Excellence playing at under 9 and under 10 level. I then moved to Liverpool football academy and played at under 11 and under 12 level. At under 13 I represented the Halton district in the Dynamo Cup in Berlin Germany, we won the competition and I was confident enough to take and convert a penalty in the final. At under 14 and under 15 I represented the St Helens district, playing schoolboy football. I have also played in Futsal tournaments. I am also captain of my school football team. I am currently 16 and I have joined Prescot Cables Youth team (u18’s) were I have been signed on and I am regularly playing for the youth team.
Write about your Playing Ability : My preferred playing position is attacking midfield were I can combine determination with the skills I have developed. I have also played wide midfield both right and left side and also enjoy the right and left back positions for the different challenge it offers. I can use both my right and left foot so I am quite versatile. While at Liverpool academy I was informed I was in the top three technically, this is because I have always practised skills and passing with both feet. Training in Brazilian football and playing futsal have developed my ability to move the ball quickly and beat my opponent.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I have now grown physically and I am still developing. I can combine my skills with athleticism. I am confident in my technical ability and I will stand out among a group of players. I also like to lead a team and like to use verbal communication to drive a team.
