Tell us about your football history in 100 words: I started at east lodge, playing Saturday and sunday 2008 but unfortunately my dad (who played professionally) dropped out of my life. I found it hard to play as I was upset. Last year I realised that I really must follow my dream so I played for Pickwick. I had a heel injury so switched to c league to recover and get fitness up. All my east lodge buddies found out I was playing again and asked me if I'd come back even though it had been years. I had a trial and signed immediately. It's great to be back enjoying playing football. I've realised that I don't need my dad. I can do it myself.
Tell us about your Playing ability in 100 Words: I am almost 5'5" and I am a strong (Rooney body type) mid fielder, although I can play anywhere. I study Cristiano Ronaldo and like to play with style. I play a passing game. Letting the ball do the work. But I have pace and constantly work on fitness as my mum is a PT.
I am both footed. Scored with my left in a tournament against my old team last week. I won't allow tricks to get in the way of team play, but I like to use them if they are needed in a game to get passed people. I listen. I am a quick learner and I practice everyday. I am a team player and know that it's not just about scoring, it's about making the goal happen. (But scoring is a good feeling!)
Why should an Academy Manager give you a football trial in 100 words: Although not seeing my dad (Lea Barkus) did stop me playing when I was younger, I know now that it doesn't matter. He played for Fulham, Reading and England U21's
My dream is to make it. I have been told I have natural flare and ability. I've always wanted to play for my home team. So I guess I wanted to ask you if you would take a look a me. I'm willing to work hard, listen and be loyal to Portsmouth FC.
