Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I first got into football when I was 4. Then when I was 8, I played as a defender. I was suited for the role because I was big and fast. But then I saw one of my goalkeeping hero's :Fransesco Toldo play. He was incredible, I wanted to be like him. So I changed positions, I trained everyday and got where I am now. I played for Mosta as a defender, but then I played for Luqa fc as a goalkeeper, then I had to move to England, so I joined a new club and I carried on my dream from there.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Well... Im not that type of person to say that they are good, I'll let my coach or whoever is watching me decide. But either wise, I control my box, I push my defenders up, as a goalkeeper it is my responsibility to motivate the team. To tell them of the opposing dangers, Im 5 foot 10 and a half but I can jump very high. I train everyday, but I know that success can only be achieved after hard work, sweat, tears and pain, thats why I want to be given my chance so I can prove you right why I want to be a goalkeeper so bad.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I would like to be given a chance as everyone else, I wont say im good, I'll let them decide if im good or not. Like I said I want one chance, to prove everyone wrong. I love football than I love myself, everyday, Im either practicing goalkeeping drill in the garden or watching goalkeepers and watching their technique. Such as Neuer, to see how well he does on 1v1's or Cech for corners ect. All I want is to get better, because as much as perfect you are.. there's always room for improvement.
