Write about your football history : I have been playing for St. Patricks Boys for the last 9 years. I have won numerous leagues and cups as well as reaching the SFAI quarter finals. I have also won many personal awards. I have won PLayer of the Year award on two occasions and once for my school team. I was part of the Carlow academy team that competed in tournaments in Spain, Sweden, Holland as well as the Kennedy Cup in Limerick.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am capable of playing in a number of different positions (right back, centre back, left back, centre midfield). Being ambidextrous is one of my best assets. I am quite pacy and I have a very good engine. My passing and shooting abilities are very good. A weakness of mine would be that I'm not great in the air but with some extra my heading ability will be excellent.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I think I should be given a trial because I live and breathe football. I am determined to be the best and I truly believe I can be. I am extremely passionate and I would love nothing more than to become a professional.
