Write about your football history : When I was younger I was born in England but raised for the first 5 years of my life in India and has a natural ability in sport. I played cricket to a county standard on return to England but found out that my passion was football. I played and loved it but wasnt the best player as I was only starting out when I was 14 years of age and was subject to racism due to my participation in football with peopole stateing that I should stay to cricket because I was brown. My coach gave me advice that I keep to today, he said "prove them wrong you have ability over come the stereotype and become better than them". This advice I will never forget and I forced myself to be better, fitter, stronger, faster and cleverer to make me a footballer that ended up becoming the back bone of the teams I played at after. from the ages of 14 to 18 I trained hard became the fittest player in my team and in my last season and only my second season I was voted player of the season by coaches, players and supporters and it spurred me on to become a even better player and take my ability to the next level. I was scouted by a semi professional team called Fleetwood town who now play in league one of English football but the time was not right for me and I was not able to continue. I am now looking for an opportunity to prove myself. Whoever that gives me the opportunity will not regret it, I am just hoping and praying that I will be given the chance as the time is right. I joined Coventry University and currently in my last year of a degree in Sports and Exercise Science. After trails I was 1 of 30 out of 400 that made the squad after a good start i injured my ankle and was out for a year. Now I am looking for an opportunity to continue my progression in football to the next level and where better than the place where my family originate from, a place where I have fond memories and a place where I can promote and sport i love in a country I love. I am just looking for an opportunity to prove myself and become the player my coaches have seen I can become and I believe that India is the place where I would be able to get the help support I need.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am a right footed player. My best position is CM and can player CDM, CAM, RM and RB. I have over the years become an all round CM able to defend and attack effectively. I am a play maker and link up play all around the pitch and also break up the oppositions play so they do not get into a flow. I am stronger and fitter than I look giving me an edge over many players. I also do the simple things very well and work hard to ensure the opposition are always under pressure. I read the game very well which allows me to anticipate dangers and see a pass that other may not.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I have not been playing football as long as other but I see to keep them on the bench due to my ability which I have acquired over the years thanks to my coaches and now I am looking to push myself to the next level. I work hard and never give up and I am eager to learn and become better each and every training session and match. By giving me a trial the director will be giving a chance to a player who will leave blood, sweat and tears every match without fail, and a player who is desperate for a chance and a player that will not let you down.
