Tell us about your football history (Min 50 words) : In 2007 is spent a year and a half at Wolverhampton wanderers academy. After getting released from this club, i played Sunday league football for binbrook fc under andy sinton for a matter of months until getting scouted for Walsall and spending just over 2 years with them. After not being offered a scholarship at Walsall, I then attended exit trails at 16 in which a number of teams showed interest, and i went on to sign a 2 year scholarship with Cambridge united. After completing this scholarship and not getting offered a pro contract i am now looking for a new club.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am predominately a left back, but have also played left midfield, centre back and briefly right back throughout my youth. I am a technically good player with a strong left foot, and an able right foot. I am good at crossing, passing and have a good first touch. I'm also a good 1 vs 1 defender but love to get forward and join in with attacks. Mentally i have good discipline and a good footballing head tactically and make a lot of interceptions as i read the game well. Finally i am a very able corner and free kick taker.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe an academy director should give me a trail as i have a lot of experience at playing a good level of football, and after receiving a number of knock backs during my youth i am still determined to pursue a professional career in football. Also i have been lucky enough to always be scouted when playing and never had to chase clubs for trails until now. I believe i am a good technical player, and very versatile as i can play 2 positions well and comfortably. I feel i have narrowly missed out on opportunities to boost my career in the past, and i am hoping for another chance at a new club soon.
