Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I have been playing league football since i was 7 years old - My first club on Saturday's was West Bridgford Spiders ( Yel League Division 1) playing in the right centre back position - I played for this team until the end of under 13's and was the captain since the age of 9. My current year of football on a Saturday has been for Greenwood Meadows ( Yel League Division 1) and have just finished the season jointly winning the league and winning the cup. My position in this team is right centre back. My current year of football on a Saturday has also been playing for county school boy's (South Nott's) We have just finished the season winning the league and winning the cup. My position is right centre back and captain. I have also been playing league football on a Sunday since i was 10 years old - I play for West Bridgford Saracens (Yel League Division 1) and have finished the season mid table and Semi finalists in the cup. My position is right centre back and captain since the age of 10.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : My ability on the football pitch is of a good strong, very fast level. My ideal position is right centre back but i can also play centre back or midfield. I read the game very well and avoid heavy challenges unless absolutely nescessary. I see a pass very early and have the ability to take on players by stepping up or over lapping to push the team forward. My overall ability is of a high level but am keen to improve and learn with the right coaches.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : An Academy director should offer me a trial because: I am a determined team player looking to take the next step on the football ladder. My strengths are: strong in the challange, speed, reading of the game and an eye for a pass. I now play for the top local team in my area on a Saturday and have just finished the season jointly winning the league and winning the cup, and i have just been asked to join the top two Sunday teams that have just won the league and came second and who both won one cup each and am currently considering my options. I am keen to learn and am very hard working.
