Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started playing football when i was 5 years old but, it was only training days for Colchester United. I then moved to Lincolnshire at the age of 9 where I joined Navenby Jfc. I won numerous awards at the club including Head Coaches award 3 times in a row. Then Navenby folded so I moved to Cranwell Jfc at the age of 14. I played in a tournament last year where I was noticed by Leicester City scouts but nothing came of it.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I play as a centre midfielder. I prefer to play more as an attacking midfielder because that's where I'm more effective on the pitch.I play for the team, I'd rather have a good assist than a decent goal. I'm not the fastest of players but, I make up for that by creating space because of my strength and, ability to hold up the ball. I used to play as a centre back at navenby but I didn't particularly enjoy it and i found i was better in a more attacking role. I do like to get stuck in and I never back out of a challenge. I'm not the typical attacking midfielder that you would see in modern day football. I'm 6ft so i don't have a low sense of gravity but that doesn't mean I can't dribble. I can play as a defensive midfielder if needed and I can make bursting runs as a player typical of Yaya Toure's stature would. I'm not as fit as most players but I'm willing to do anything to get scouted for a youth academy. I would say my best attributes are: Vision, short and long passing, long distance shooting, finishing, free-kick taking, heading and tackling.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : An academy director should give me a trial for these reasons; First of all I give 100% whatever the circumstances, most people when they come to my age give up their dreams but I won't stop trying till i succeed. I like to be a leader on the pitch and help other players out if possible.
