JUNIOR FOOTBALL LEADER JFL COURSE WITH DURHAM FA

We are holding two Junior Football Leader (JFL) Courses for anyone aged 12+ who is interested in getting involved in Football Leadership or volunteering. This is an ideal course for anyone with an interest in coaching, refereeing, running events or working with a junior football team and is a recognised FA Award.

The JUNIOR FOOTBALL LEADER JFL COURSE WITH DURHAM FA courses will be held at:

Farringdon Community Sports College (Sunderland) on Thursday 26^th and Friday 27^th July from 9-4pm. We are running it in partnership with Farringdon Detached FC and the second day will give you the opportunity to put what you have learnt into practise through a football festival for young children.

Hummersknott Academy (Darlington) on Tuesday 21^st & Wednesday 22^nd August from 9-4pm. We are running this course in partnership with Hummersknott Academy and the second day will give you the opportunity to put what you have learnt into practise through an Olympic themed event where candidates will support the football section.

The cost is £10.50 per person and this includes an FA certificate, whistle and resource book. Anyone aged 16 or over will be given the opportunity to undertake a voluntary placement within Farringdon Detached FC or Darlington Spraire Lads & Lasses FC (depending on the course) if they wish. Details of this will be provided during the 2 days. All candidates will also get the opportunity to find out more about the FA’s Football Futures Programme; a Leadership & Volunteering Programme for 14-25 year olds.
