Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Ive played football since the age of 6, always enjoyed training and developing my skills. I played for pennar robins until the age of 10 fully enjoying my time there and will always be a club close to my heart. I then transferred to Claberston Road which I won numerous cups with and became very successful with the club. After my first season with Claberston Road I was then also chose to represent my county and play all over Wales. I continued to play for county and I still do now, representing Pembrokeshire at U'19s level. This standard of football is very attractive for young players around Wales to play in and I feel very privileged to have and still play at this level for so long. After 2 seasons at Claberston Road I fancied a new challenge and played 2 seasons in an age group one year above me for Kilgetty, these seasons wernt easy due to the strength and physicality these players had over me, however, all these descions and paid off for me in the long run. Playing for County for the majority of my career and playing every game of every season for the last 10 years its enabled me to become a strong, experienced player. This season I played my first senior season for Monkton Swifts in the 1st Division, it was another stepping stone in my career, after a successful season and feeling stronger than ever I have had numerous clubs asking for me to transfer. After careful thoughts at where I believed I would be most effective and considering the best club for developing players of my age I have re-joined Pennar Robins, which previously mentioned have always been close to my heart.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I believe I nuture many skills on the pitch and the training I have been involved with over the years has been the best I can receive in my area and therefore I am always improving and developing. At 5ft9' im not the tallest of players but that doesnt stop me from being an determined, gritty player within the middle of the pitch always looking to work hard to retain the ball. I believe my biggest strength is passing the ball, long or short, always looking to play the simple pass but when appropriate slip a striker in on goal. I am also a quick, nippy player and able to take players on using my pace and close control. However, we all have weaknesses and I am still in the process of developing my weaker foot, which has been pointed out to me by my County coach. I am a massive team player, which thrives on success, and I am always looking to support the careers of players around me aswel as my own.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : An Academy Director should give me a trial because within the area I live great players miss out on opportunities every day. I have reached my highest potential here and done all I can. I now need a chance outside of Wales to prove I have the potential to be a great player. There is nothing I have wanted more than the opportunity to have trials with a professional club as you can see by the number of hours I have put in at training and developing my skills. I love football.
