Write about your football history : I started playing football at the age of 3 and joined a football club at the age of 6. I have always enjoyed playing football, I was the type of kid that would eat, sleep, talk and play football and never wanted to do anything else. I didn't play for the best team as a young kid but it was never about winning for me, it was all about enjoying the game and taking part, I only started to get competetive when I join the mens league when I started playing for abatis fire&sercurity, I was just 16 when I started playing for them but in my first season I tore my ligaments in my right knee and was out of football for around 6 to 7 months, then when I came back from injury I started to get very competetive. I then joined westlands fc at the age of 17 we got promoted 3 years in a row and won 1 cup along the way. I also started playing for grimsby borough reserves but that didn't last long as the team folded so I only played 5 games for them. I have currently just joined a new team called welholme community fc and have played a few friendlies for them as the season has finished. So that is everything up to date.
Write about your Playing Ability : I believe my playing ability is to a very good standard, I have been told by current managers and previous managers that I am a very good player and should show my ability, they also believe that I have much potential.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I believe I should have a trial because I really enjoy playing football I've played since the age of 4 and started playing for a team at the age of 6. I believe I have a lot of potential and lots of experience I have been told by current managers and previous managers that I am to good to be playing in the grimsby sunday league and should do my best to push forward and show my ability. I think I do have really good ability and can show that no matter the ability of other players that I play with. I do make mistakes but who doesn't. I would appriciate a chance to show what I have and that I do have potential.
