Tell us about your football history (Min 50 words) : I started playing when I was 13 and became a lover of the game. I started of at a local sunday club then got trials for Fulham. I lasted 2 years there before getting released due to me being too injury prone. I then got trials for Reading which were successful but due to the distance I was unable to play. I went on trial at Chelsea at the age of 15 and didn't quite make the cut, but you can imagine Chelsea obviously expect too high standrd for any player. I am now playing semi- professional football but feel everything can be raised to a higher standard
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I'm quite quick with an 100m time of 11.93 which means I can overlap very, very quickly. I have a "sweet" left foot which helps me along with my knowledge of the hit accurate passes over 40-60 yards. Due to me playing for such a high standard I feel that not only are my basics up to scratch I also have a high ability in the advanced section of the game.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe that reading the game is the BIGGEST and most important reason for a teams victory or loss, if you can read where the opponants going you can stop him, which stops the goals. I feel although i've only had 6-7 years experience of the game it's something i've been born into and the clubs i've been at prove this. By me reading the game it helps the team to not only win the ball back, get through weaker spots of the opposition as I pick them up very quickly. For me and most others it's a hard world if you're not at an academy now, so for a trial and a chance to get back into it, is well priceless really.
