Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am a right footed player although reasonably comfortable with my left as I can pass, cross and shoot with either. I am a tough tackler and have an excellent work rate. I average 10 goals a season from midfield. I am currently captain of my team Tolka Rovers and playing in the ddsl premier which is the top schoolboy league in Ireland. My favoured position is central defensive midfield ( holding midfield), although I do regularly burst forward from here hence my goal scoring average. I prefer this position because I feel I can influence the game more from here as I like to be involved as much as possible. I can , have and do-play every position depending on the opposition. After spending 2 seasons there i left for Maldon Saints, started as LM, scored 12 goals in 20 games. Last season i was played as a striker for the first time. Had a very good season, in 14 games i scored 25 goals and got 4 Hat-tricks. And i continue to play as a striker however i play up front alone. Tell us about your football history (Min 50 words) : I first kicked a ball when I was 5 years old in the park with my mother and ever since I have loved playing football its my life. I started playing for a local team when I was 9 years old for a club called bryn rovers, where I spent 3 years there on mini-pitch. At 12 years old I felt it was time to move to a bigger club where I could win medals and experience. I move to another local team 10 minutes away from me called Pontardawe Town who were one of the best amatuer football clubs in south wales. I have won 5 league titles and 5 league cups with Pontardawe Town and also reached finals of welsh cups. I am currently at my second year of youth football and still winning medals as last year we won the league and went unbeaten through the whole season, and we are currently unbeaten this season with 5 wins out of 5 games.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I love to get past defenders with my agility and strength. I like to get on the out of full backs and deliver balls in for the attackers. I also like to cut inside my opponent and have a shot on goal when its opened up. I don't score many goals a season but I provide loads of assists in my career with my crossing skills. I take most of the set-pieces at my club including both sides of corner kicks and free-kicks. My defending is not my strongest but I put 110% in tracking back and putting in a shift to help my full back. I like a phyiscal battle with the opposistion when its on also.

I have never really had a chance in my life to show my ability as I have never had trials with a club. Tell us about your football history (Min 50 words) : I started of playing football every Saturday at my local park where I was seen by the manager of a team called Rippleway. He told me to come and train with his team and after 3 training sessions he signed me.My first season at Rippleway FC I was player of the season and ever since I have been a major figure in the changing room and on the pitch; starting almost every single match for Rippleway and London ASPA which is a semi pro team in the eastern junior alliance. In my past I have played in major competitions and finals, winning the league cup for club and school as well as playing in an essex cup final match. In addition I have much experiences playing with older people as I feature in every single church match held being the youngest player on the pitch against 18 year old's and so on, which has really helped me improve as a player.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am an holding midfielder who can also play the normal central midfield roll, center back as well as behind the striker. I think being versatile is one of my best attributes as I can do the job all around the pitch correctly and use my knowledge from other positions to play even better in another position. I have a great touch and my vision which is a major aspect in my game, although I am not slow I am not extremely fast too so I use my intelligence to deal with different situations on the pitch,also changing my playing styles in games where its needed so i can have an impact on the match. However, I am quite tall with close control which allows me to drive through the midfield starting an attack. As well as that my height allows me to win most headers, towards goal or away from goal. Since I have started playing football I have loved the passing game which has helped my short and long range passing be better than the rest on the pitch which helps me start attacks, split defenders and pass in a way which people would not expect me. In addition I have a good long range shot and I am a very composed player which helps me be composed in front of goal which means I am more clinical than others. However I believe I can even still improve my finishing from all distances to score even more goals from the midfield. In addition I believe my free kicks towards goal could be better and I am working on it all the time; but I have been told I deliver good balls in deal ball situations, however my freekicks still need improving. On the pitch I am a leader and my determination and drive levels are off the scale which helps me and the team to play better. My work rate every match is very high defensively and attacking and I am working on improving my stamina even more so i can work even harder on the pitch. Mentally I am really strong which is what you need as a footballer as when things go wrong I am never down and always striving to do better.

Tell us about your football history (Min 50 words) : when i move to England i was scouted at 12yrs old then played for Coventry City for 4 yrs, i was ment to get a scholarship but was released without explanation , betwenn the next two yrs i played games for Aston villa and derby Academy, They said i was good enough for Villa but already signed someone in my positon and Derby County Academy said i should be there to the point where i was staying for weeks at the academy training with the youth team and the pro's but then had to drop all the trials because of management.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : i think that my playing ability is at an academy standard, not only because of what i think but because of coaches and players around me who think that i should be further than i am now in my carear, i am technically great, with quick feet and the ability to take on players quickly; i also have good vision, i am able to see tricky and risky plays and passes an im able to develop attacking moves very quickly, I am also a fast player and strong on the ball, so if i am out on the wings i can work the full back extremly hard and beat them just by pase and if im played down the middle i can recieve the ball from mid-field, hold play up or turn the man.I am a very hard worker!, i work forward and backwards every game because my stamina is good so i can play consecutive 90min games working at the same rate, finally im also able to defend very well as i have played in defensive positions for previous academys and can fill in anywhere except center back.

Hi, My name is James Chan. I am born in Hong Kong but my nationality is Australian.  I was born on 09/10/1997. I am a center back who is right footed. I am 5’2, weighing 55kg. I’m also capable of playing many other positions such as left and right full back, left and right wing, central midfield (holding) and attacking midfield. I have a good shot on me and I am a fairly good defender. From the recent 6 games I have played, I have scored 2 headers from corners. Assisting 3.

My football history is fairly long, because I'm playing football for about 12 years and I want to play football in the future as I think I believe I have the potential to become a great player.
My favourite team is Arsenal. However, I do not mind playing for any professional football team as I am keen to learn and willing to take advice from coaches and all staff as I am trying to reach my full potential. Therefore, I hope a team will allow me to show my ability and skill and prove my worth. I am currently  and I play semi-professional football in the league organized by the Hong Kong Football Association.  I currently play for a local team, which is Southern District U16. I believe we are currently ranked as the third best team in Hong Kong for my age group. I am a Starting 11 player without a doubt. I have played in various positions over the past few years. I started off playing for HKFC at right wing and left wing for 5-6 years. Then I moved on to right back and left back for a year or so as the coach believed I had well timed tackles and I have the ability to defend well and use my pace for catching the wings and also overlapping. Then I moved clubs to Southern District, playing for the under 16s and started playing as the holding defensive midfield as well as playing the center back position for 2 years now.  I have scored 2 goals this season as a center back as that is my ideal position. I am the last defender as I have the pace and skill to block attackers from scoring.  Both my goals were headers from corners. Although I am fairly short, I have a great jump height.

I am very fast with the fastest time for 100m and 200m for my school. I have also great agility and a high IQ for football. As well as playing as a center back, I love to go up and attack and join the action in corners and long throw ins. I have a good shot on me and also great vision for long balls and through balls. I also have a great jumping ability which helps me to head the ball defensively and attacking wise. I have good positioning as I am the last defender normally. I have good leadership skills, as I am the person who calls the offside line and order people at the back. Eg: Telling people who to mark and watch for the offsides etc.

I have played with St Mirren FC (Pro-youth), Renfrew Juniors(Semi-Pro) and now currently playing with St Anthony's Juniors (Semi-Pro). I have also played for my districts on several occassions. I play RM/CM. Very quick and creative. Playing Pollok,

ISLINGTON SOCCER SCHOOL

This was my first ever football team I started it in 2002 I was majorly helped by there amazing coaches they taught me everything I know now and more however this was a soccer school so we only got to play friendly’s but it was amazing how advanced some of my ex-teammates are.

Tell us about your football history (Min 50 words) : When I played at school I played as a right midfilder.This was my first football team to play in and we finsih runners up in the league but we only lost won game. We also played in the Bognor Regis footbal festival we came runners up. Got picked for the district and they played me upfront.We won every game that season and won the berkshire schools cup and won the Gills sheld kent schools fa.With Hillyfilders I play upfront or behind the striker or wide right.I have scored four goals so far this season but i have created a lot of chances.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I have a good touch and a lot of energy. I keep getting told that I am a good team player beacuse of my passing. I am not a bad header.I like training,I love watching football and like talking to my dad about the older players and the managers when they were players. I am a Arsenal supporter and my dream would be to play for Arsenal one day.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I think I Have the ability and I enjoy being around football.When I got picked for the district I was socked beacuse I thought that I wasn't going to get in because of the players that were at the trials. we use to train three times a week and I have become a better player beacuse of the district and if I join an Academy I will be a better player, thats why a Academy Director should give me a trial.
