Tell us about your football history (Min 50 words) : Played for Callan since I was 6,began getting goals since I was 7.I am Vice Captian for Callan Youth U19's.In May 2012 I was the youngest player ever to win in a McCalmont Cup Final (This cup is extremely big in the Kilkenny District League and our club have not won that cup in 40 years).I also play for my school team Callan CBS.My biggest achivement with them was I got a hattrick for them back in October this year and I was the only player in the whole school at the age of 15 to play for both U16 and U20 level for them. I have been regarded as extremely fit by my fitness coaches and also I have done an Army course with the Barracks in Kilkenny which I have passed a fitness test.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I was exposed to and trained in all positions of competitive play; currently specializing in attacking and creating goal responsibilities, (i.e., Winger and Stiker),requiring on my speed,dribble and passing skill,very good channelization skills also,counterattacking, and support of ranging goalkeeper. Skilled in set peices, including corners,freekicks.Skilled with both right and left feet.Very High intensity and concentration.Excellent timing and anticipation, positioning, reading the game.Very knowledgeable in rules of the game , team and individual strategy. High pain threshold. Very strong leadership skills on and off the field. Take-charge mentality. Loud game voice.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : What really got me inspired to achive this goal is I have been told countless times by the men's coach,players and also my peers that I should take this opportunity to come to you and ask for trials,I assure you that your time will never be wasted on me as it is branded onto my mind that this is the carrer I want.I would give anything to even be considered for a trial.Since I live in a town that never has had any scouts come to them in quite some years I want to make it clear that I know coaches are looking for a player like me.I can get along with strangers and I'm easy to make friends but I also have social skills in leadership and to take give my opintion on and off a pitch without being ignorant or foolish.I feel like this is my one shot to achive my dream and I really hope Impressed you.
