Player of the year every year and overall club player of the year once. Moved to Malahide united in ddsl u10 and got player of the year for second team. Currently playing with Tolka Rovers u17 ddsl premier and last season i was moved up centre forward in last 4 games and scored 7 goals to gain promotion. i have recently been involved with our senior team in Leinster senior top division Saturday, having played in last 4 matches.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am a right footed player although reasonably comfortable with my left as I can pass, cross and shoot with either. I am a tough tackler and have an excellent work rate. I average 10 goals a season from midfield. I am currently captain of my team Tolka Rovers and playing in the ddsl premier which is the top schoolboy league in Ireland. My favoured position is central defensive midfield ( holding midfield), although I do regularly burst forward from here hence my goal scoring average. I prefer this position because I feel I can influence the game more from here as I like to be involved as much as possible. I can , have and do-play every position depending on the opposition. I also play centre forward from time to time and score at least 2 in every 3 but my current manager thinks we loose the midfield when I do. I lead through example with my work rate and determination and know I would be an asset to any professional club. I am comfortable carrying the ball even under pressure and am not easily dispossessed as I have the strength and desire to succeed. I also currently play for our seniors in the Leinster Senior Football League which includes some ex league of Ireland players. I train 4 nights a week, twice for the schoolboys and twice for the seniors, I play Saturday for the seniors and Sunday for the schoolboy team so I am fit
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I think an academy director should give me a trial because I have the determination to win every challenge I go for. I do not like to loose. I am very versatile , quick thinking and hard working. I learn quickly and can adapt to any formation. I am a box to box player who can score and defend. I have an eye for a pass and contribute a lot of assists. Failure is not something that sits easily with me. I am not the biggest player but I have surprising strength, stamina which along with my skill makes me a good candidate for a top level football career. Playing for our seniors has given me the confidence and belief in my ability to be able to play with and against the best regardless of their size or reputation. I am worth a gamble and know I will make it if given the chance.
