Tell us about your football history (Min 50 words) : My name is Charles. I am 23. I started playing soccer when I was 6. My Dad refused me from enrolling into an academy. He suggested that I should finish my education first. From my kindergarten to my high school period, I played a lot of matches for my school. I scored in every match. And I loved and respected for my reputable and outstanding performance in sports. I mean not only that I play soccer but I also run for my school as well. After I moved to Malaysia for my studies, I joined the gym club. I applied for trials at various states of Malaysia like Kuala Lumpur,Selanghor, Klang, Seremban, etc. But I found out that they prefer only Asians more than the internationals. So I started playing for my college clubs (Dolphin fc) and Redeem fc). Redeem fc was a church club that were recruiting players around September 15th 2009. I joined the team. I played for the team for 6 months and my performance was outstanding. I scored 46 goals through out matches i played. I was played all the time. But later, the church couldn't find any sponsor for the club. The other sponsors had finished their education had to go back to their various countries. Besides internationals especially black people are not given job opportunities in Malaysia unless you are a muslim. So when I informed our coach about my decision of leaving, he wrote an application letter to our institution of learning (Legenda College). But the application was declined though we our school fees and cost of living are times two their citizens school fees. I left Redeem fc and Joined Dolphin fc. Dolphin fc was formed by Mechanical Engineering Department. So all the equipment we use are from the contributions from each member of the department including me. So it wasn't that expensive provided we were so many. We sponsor ourselves. I played for Dolphin throughout. And I scored as many goals that I couldn't recall. Besides we've got no sponsor or accessories to video our game. Moreover the field sucks (too small and water-logged). When I was in Nigeria, I played in wider and lengthened fields during my high school periods. I had injuries but it was just minor ones at that time. But now that I have already graduated. I wish to do that which I am good at and love so much. That is playing soccer. My nick name is VAN PERSEY. That is what everyone calls me.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I had never touched cigar or any smoking stuffs all my life. I don't drink alcohol and moreover am a virgin. So with that i believe you've known how bad I am. I have the devil's speed, very sharp and viscous like a lion. I can play for a longer time without getting tired. I weigh 60 for now. But at times I may weigh 58 or 59.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : Well, I believe in one thing which my Mum usually says. She says that a tree doesn't make a forest. Which means for you to achieve success, working together as one is the key. For a team to be perfect, passing the ball always and creating a space to receive a pass all the time is the key. I believe to bring victory and glory to any club am going to play for. And I know that because I believe in God, in my self and in good in everybody no matter the situation. Remember, determination today leads to success tomorrow.
