YUSUF MERSIN LIVERPOOL FC ACADEMY PLAYER

Yusuf Mersin (born 23 September 1994) is an English-born Turkish footballer who plays for the Liverpool Academy and reserves as a goalkeeper.

Liverpool brough Mersin to their academy in January 2011 from Millwall. He made his debut for the under-18s in the 2011-12 season, and has also made the bench for the reserves, however he is currently behind stoppers Tyrell Belford and Jamie Stephens in the pecking order for the youth sides. He is commended for his commanding presence in the penalty area and is a popular figure at Kirkby.
