Our under 8's played in this local derby v San Miguel. Ben Naylor starting in goal played well, and generally a good performance allround against a much improved San Miguel team. We went behind early on after some great play, but a long range shot dummied by Tom Jones see Luke Naylor send a thunderbolt into the San Miguel net. It wasn't enough for Mil palmeras to get a result at home, but a good performance allround. Match report by Tim Breeze Manager. Sponsor MJ GARDENING.

    MIL PALMERAS U10's 5 V 2 CATRAL B
With Mil palmeras remaining top of the league and unbeaten in 23 games, Catral decided to put out there A team, to try everything possible to gain a result. 2 superb goals from Shadi Ramadan see him take home player of the match. Sheldon added another, along with Mark Gallagher and Esteban continuing his improved goalscoring form. Catral threatened a little but a result for Mil Palmeras was always a safe bet, following cool heads from the players, although some nerves showed from the supporters. DAY NUEVA 6 V 2 MIL PALMERAS U 14's
A good game with Mil Palmeras going one up with some beautiful team play and finished by Adam Walker. A great allround display and some excellent quality football played on a difficault pitch. The players worked hard and deserved more, but sadly the referee was certainly going out of his way to benefit the home side. Sadly a result was never likely although Mil Palmeras players deserved a lot more. Great play by Bobby Mclean in midfield, Ciaran Sullivan playing his best football in his 2nd stint in this game. Player of the match Jay Pickford, was carried off after a questionable challenge on him, which was superbly smashed home Ronaldo style, by Aidan Sullivan Capt. Mil Palmeras improving team football, showed but individual quality is something thats needs improving, to be able to challenge for longer spells in games. But well pleased allround, and some enthusiastic crowd support, keep it up. Report by Tony Pickford. Sponsored by SPECSAVERS TORREVIEJA.
