TONY'S SOCCER SCHOOL. 5 FEBRUARY
Mil Palmeras B U12's 7 v 2 Pilar B
Sponsor: CAMFIX UK
Great game for our B team which started well. TJ Brook opened the scoring with a fantastic Free Kick. Luke Naylor added a great effort from outside the box. The result was 3-2 to Mil Palmeras.
The second half and Bailey Tomlinson, Morgan Earl & Cai Harding who scored from a Bailey pass, came to life. Dad and Manager Alan Daly was pleased with a fine Lucy Daly goalkeeping performance, and Emily Kelly also scored. George Johnson Captain scored from long range and also scored a game changing penalty which was won by Benjamin Player, Morgan Earl.
Bigastro 0 v 3 Mil Palmeras A U8's
Sponsor: Lesonja's Canina Residencia.
Another excellent win against a very good Bigastro team. The first half was level with Ben 'The Rock' Naylor hitting the bar. The second half see Mil Palmeras play some good one touch football and Alfie 'AJ' Johnson opened the scoring with a low shot. AJ quickly added a 2nd before David 'Duracell' Milton Stamm hit a 3rd. An excellent team performance growing stronger with every game. Ben Naylor for an excellent game at the back grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck. Henry long looked comfortable at this level, and Goalkeepers Diego Sheffield, and Alfred Emmett. Player of the Match David Milton Stamm.
Mil Palmeras 5 v 0 Benejuzar
Team Sponsor AMIGOS BAR SAN PEDRO.
Another win for table topping Mil Palmeras, with goals from David Milton Stamm 4, and Taylor Hirst 1. Jorge Campbell, Kevin Ruiz and Niomi Sheffield certainly deserve a mention. Captain Lacey Bradley led the team well and deserved her first goal for the club. Well done every player, although the parents excitement, may not be good for there health. Well Done.
Formentera 1 v 4 Mil Palmeras A U8's
Sponsor: Lesonja's Canina Residencia.
A good win in freezing conditions. Both teams playing good football, Mil Palmeras opened the scoring through Alfred 'Dynamo' Emmett. Mil Palmeras came out stronger in the second half. Alfie Johnson 2 and David Milton Stamm scored to make it 4-1 to Mil Palmeras. Well Done from manager Gary 'Scouse' Johnson.
Mil Palmeras U10's 4 v 4 Benferri.
Sponsor: www.DGCpropertyservices.com
Goals from Luke Naylor and Ben Naylor 3, set up a 4-0 margin to Mil Palmeras at the break. A great first half but the second half was more difficult following Benferri surprise introduction of 2 second half substitutes that were missing in the first half. But Mil Palmeras earned the draw with a late goal from Luca Webb. No complaints here though, a bit more cutting edge and determination and desire can see results go our way. Manager Martin Naylor thanks all the players for improved effort, just the result fell away.
Mil Palmeras B 2 v 3 La Aparecida A
Sponsor: The Abbey Tavern, La Florida
A great performance with Taylor Hirst in goal, and Enrique Khomenko playing well. Adam Pritchard certainly was full of energy. Attacker Luca Sloanes scored both goals to set up a great final 5 minutes with Jedd Campbell going in goal late on. Taylor Hirst deserved the honour of taking her first penalty. Well Done all, best game of the day. Parent Rep Jenny Hirst deserves a special thank you for hard work.
Hondon 9 v 2 Mil Palmeras Infantils U14's
SPONSOR CAMFIX UK
Hondon is not the best place to go to when snow is on the mountings, and this early morning kick off was always going to be tough. Harvey Worthington, and Sam Halliday played well, as did Jamie Macdonald. Bacon Butty's supplied by 'Club Chef' Cilla Scott certainly lifted the crowd. Mmmmmmmm Bootifull, who complemented well her Sons performance. Well done all from Tonys Soccer School and qualified Manager Scott Bradley.
Mil Palmeras 2 V 8 Junior S
Sponsor: Cash in The Attic, Play Flamenca, Beach Front.
A game Mil Palmeras could of won, but nerves and a gutsy 7 players, and No subs, meant for a difficault game, and to go 7-0 down certainly showed that. Mil Palmeras then came to life, Lewis Long crossed for Harvey Worthington to grab a headed corner, late on, who then added another through a penalty area scramble. Every single one of this Mil Palmeras hybrid-Alevin team from Goalkeeper Lucy Daly right up to Jake Scott can be proud of their drive, enthusiasm and attitude as they kept running until the final whistle in difficult conditions.
