Tony's Soccer School extend there lead at the top of the league following this fantastic win. Passing quality triangle style football was on display early on, with Henry Long grabbing 2 goals following good wing play. Orlando Breeze had very little to do in goal although in the second half scored to increase his Tally. Redovan are well documented for producing quality football teams, but they were put to the sword by a system put in place at Tony's Soccer School, to produce players of high quality from a young age. Niomi Sheffield now a permanent figure in an ever improving team looks to have improved massively under head coach Tony Pickford. Taylor Hirst scored late on following great work from David Milton Stamm, who was the complete all round player for the team today. Player of the match was the whole team including young Kevin Ruiz who is a shining star waiting to be lit. Top of the table is a possibility following some fantastic displays of late. Well done and thank you for the great support.

A slow start as the back line got used to the Narrow Pitch, allowed the home team Redovan to Nip in and score to take an early lead. Manager John Halliday, taking the team for the first time, made a tactical change, Mil Palmeras responded well, Lewis Long,
Jamie Macdonald and Sam Halliday playing some good one touch football creating space and allowing Player of the Match Rico Finnas to score two of his tally of four in the first half, to allow the away side a slender lead at half time. Into the second half and strong pressure down the left flank by the home team was well and truly rebuffed by George Johnson and Jake Scott. Redovan, restricted to shots from outside the box, had a chance with a well struck strike, but Lucy Daly diving across to her right parried the ball with strong hands beyond the post. Reacting to the save that kept them in the Lead, Rico Finnas nipped in to score his 3rd, and Kai Pickford was rewarded for his hard work against a strong tackling defence with a well taken goal to give the team a commanding lead. However a harsh decision by the Referee, giving Redovan a penalty, after a challenge in the Box, made for a few tense Moments.
Lucy, steely eyed, saved the penalty, the ball rebounded out to the taker he shot again but Lucy reacted just as fast and made a second fantastic save, much to the delight of the team, away fans and bench. That was it, with only minutes remaining Rico Finnas put the result beyond doubt with his 4th goal the teams 5th. After the match a proud Manager John thanked all the players for an outstanding performance.

Back to winning ways for the Mil Palmeras 2004 A's, but were made to work for the win, especially in the first half as it seemed that the St Patricks day celebrations had started a day early as Mil Palmeras started a little slow.
Mil Palmeras took the lead through Diego Sheffield and AJ added a second, the home side pulled one back and then dominated until half time. The introduction of Alfred Emmett on the left proved dividends as he scored a third and a fourth before the home side pulled another goal back but Mil Palmeras made sure of this nervous win with AJ scoring a further 4 goals. Full credit to the players for pulling this one back, some great passing by Alfred and good defending by Tiandra Anderson and Paulo Webb with the Rock Ben Naylor cleaning up behind and William Clayton standing strong at the front. Well done to all and the parents for there support.

The B team more than held there own in the first quarter of the first half, but a corner gave Pilar the lead. From there on in it was a battle to stay in the match, and battle they did, with sterling performances at the back from the ever improving Cai Harding, Emily Kelly... with tough tackling and George Johnson, controlled and hard to beat. Paige Pickford slotted in at left midfield combining her excellent defencive duties with sorties forward. Connor Hirst and player of the Match Rhys Gill were a Constant threat from the right with Rhys unlucky not to get on the score sheet. TJ ran his socks of to get a goal coming close 3 times, with one shot hitting the post. Lucy, having made a number of excellent saves, dropped two lovely long range passes into the path of Sam Halliday who caught the Pilar defence napping twice to bag himself two well taken goals.
Richie and manager Alan Daly were proud of the commitment and determination of the Players, to stay in the match and for being a Constant Threat in front of Goal.
