SUNDERLAND AFC TO HOLD OPEN TRIALS FOR POTENTIAL FUTURE FOOTBALL PLAYERS
We are pleased to advise you of the recently released Sunderland AFC open football trials, which will be taking place early this year.
On a regular basis football trials are held by Sunderland in an open trial format, which allows players of all abilities, to showcase their football abilities in front of Sunderland Academy youth coaching staff.

Sunderland AFC are known for producing the best football players and you have the opportunity to join that long list of premier league and world football stars. The open football trial will be held at the Stadium of Light, in Sunderland, in the North East of England and is the home of the first team which currently play in the Premier league in England which is known as the best in the world.
The coaches will help you and guide you through the open trial, as they always do and give you the highest level of coaching that is on offer, and really is an opportunity for you to possibly get signed to their academy.
Sunderland have an excellent football foundation programme designed to offer youth players the opportunity to play football, and if possible progress into premiership football. They have a network of scouts that watch youth games and deal with enquiries to view and scout players who have been brought to their attention.

These trials can last up to 6 weeks and at the end of that trial they will inform you if they would like you to play for their appropriate age academy team. If so you will play weekly games against other football academy teams, in the north east of England and all over England. You will also have the opportunity to go on over seas football tours, and this is when coaches also loo at offering trials for overseas players providing they meet the criteria lay-ed down by the appropriate football organisations regarding football trials and offering players trials at a football club.
